Paneer masala | പനീർ മസാല

We can make paneer in different method. Paneer is all time favorite of vegeterians. Here is the recipe of paneer without butter and in different style. Try this and give feed back.

Ingredients

  • Paneer cubes - 100 gms
  • Sunflower oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Ghee - 2 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri chilly powder - 2 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
  • Onion - 1 cup
  • Tomato - 1
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1 teaspoon
  • Kasuri methi - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves - 2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 1 cup

Directions

Soak paneer in luke warm water for 30 minute

Squeeze paneer to remove excess water and marinate with kashmiri chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and keep it for 10 minutes

To a hot pan, add oil and cook marinated paneer for 5 minutes

Add oil and ghee to same pan

Add grated onion , ginger garlic paste and saute it till onion became brown color

Add chilly powder, salt and coriander powder

Add tomato Paste

Add 1 cup of water

Add fried paneer when it starts boiling

Add kasuri methi

Add garam masala powder and coriander leaves

Cook till gravy became thick

Yummy paneer masala is ready
